Latvian ties.

To begin the days of celebration about the National Day of Lavia, this 9th november on the Youth Centre of Valmiera there was a little express workshop to make "latvian ties", national symbols about Latvia itself. This is one of the several Latvia-related events we will see as we arrive to the National Day, the Independence Day, 18th november.
The workshop was made by kids...altought anyone could join actually (here´s a person who is not precisely a kid and participated):

The ties must make a vague "flame" drawing, actually, as at first one could think they come in the opposite order, like most of ties. Latvian ties must have the "peaks" looking up, as I said, making the vague form of a flame.

Quite simple process: just take the tie and "clip it" in its half.

Ready to give to everyone who desires one!

And this is one alone completely made tie.
