Enlighment of Valmiera´s Christmas Tree

Here in Latvia. At least in the major towns the enlighment in the main square of the local Christmas tree takes event. A way to say "hello" to Christmas and drink hot wine and tea.

And around, several stands were serving different things such hot wine, tea or small cloth and paper ornaments, and cotton candy too!

And also, a children concert to make company during the cold evening.

And as this not only ends in the square of the town, we can walk around the city and see how Christmas is really, really close. So, prepare to write your letter to Santa Claus.

Snowflakes (which actually are not too needed, because there is always real snow...I hope this year too).
